My Twizy is connected to a Shelly plug (the 16A version). I use the plug mostly to monitor the energy consumption, and to switch off the outdoor wall socket when the charge has finished (so it switches only a very low power, not 2kW), but occassionally I do switch the full 2kW. So far 1½ months), the Shelly plug has given no problems.
I've also been charging the plugin Prius from the same wall socket for the last 2½ years (also 2kW), and I have never had any problems with the Shelly plug.
I control all this from Home Assistant. I have ordered a Twiz'O Meter, which I'm also going to connect to Home Assistant. So, when I have that working, I expect that the Shelly will never have to switch off the Twizy's charger ever again because I can end the charge with the TOM.
2020 Twizy 80 with Korea windows. I have a Twiz'O'meter which is connected to my Home Assistant. I have a type 2 adapter and a CEE adapter so I can charge everywhere. I can read and understand German pretty well, but I can't write it
