It is possible to configure the page in settings page. I explained here how.maikt schrieb: [Deutsch]
3. It would be great if the current page configuration was saved in flash rom and restored after the next device start.
The configuration is saved in flash memory, so it will be restored at power on, when you'll enter in that page.
May be you are asking else.
Would you like, for example, that if you change the item in first plane, acting with its icon, the current configuration will be saved to flash at switch off (overwriting the configuration setted in settings page)?

LG Tom
Hello Fabio,
Here again a very big praise for what you have done. I am mega excited about the TwizyOMeter. It is totally nice that you can now configure your screens according to your preferences. And I certainly haven't found everything you can do yet. So I already thought that you could certainly make a documentary about it. On the other hand, it's probably too early, because you will certainly still change / adjust some things.
However, I would have one request (and probably it has been mentioned before - and I think I even read it...ahh, there : www.twizy-forum.de/twizy-o-meter/89977-a-new-twizy-display-project?start=90#235956 ).
I would also like to see the mileage not A, but in kW. That is somehow more familiar to me...I drive with about 7kW to 8 kW and recuperate with 5-6kW.

I received many similar requests, so I decided to add, starting from the units with the shipping already scheduled, an external connector for future use.green_fox schrieb: This is probably more a hardware add-on but since this is a dream list I'll write it down:
- Connection to an external "relais board/control module" and firmware modification to run it
It has four pins: +5v vcc, gnd and two pins for input/output purposes.
To be clear, for now it's only a predisposition for future use, not yet supported by the firmware.
But I'm confident that things will change in the near future.
To protect the innocents , for the first braves, early owners of Twizy o'meter, I'll make the above hw mod to their units for free, if they are interested.
They will have only the nuisance to send me their blackbox, and stay (this is the real "punctum dolens" ) without Twizy o'meter for a few days.

Life without Twizy-O-Meter is possible, but pointless

This is a working in progress of my dream list.
.
3) some little icons on the bottom side of the display, like the ones in the notification tray of an android phone, for warning purposes (motor/battery overheating, connection lost, low battery charge, etc...) 60% done.
.
This dream growed a lot, including a pop-up window and a history page for warnings.
.
6) running a webserver and providing a gui for easier configuration. 75% done.
.
5) trip info page, with current usage, estimated km left, kWh per trip etc. (thanks to HollandHannes for the idea).
For this dream, I have only implemented the icon page
Who will be the first one to find where it is?
I cannot promise you that the above dreams will become true and when, but they are in the good way.
I thank very much Snorre who is helping me a lot to keep up the work and all the others Twizy o'meter supporters for the motivating ideas and suggestions.

Anyway, warm up your microSD and your flashing tool because they will be used soon .
I want to share here some previews of what you will see in the coming new firmware update, currently in testing. I think and hope it's only a matter of days...
1) Since I received requests from someone to whom I cannot say "NO!" (yes, Snorre and real Tom I mean you) the trip history will be available also on the touch screen, not just in the webserver, and it will look as follow:
.
2) ToM will be able to control the charging process: max power charging level, charging cut-off at the desired SOC and abort charging are there. They will be available in the webserver, but also via mqtt (in set & state like commands) so the mqtt braves here, who already integrated ToM in their home domotic envirorment, will benefit. I hope to also add some charging controls directly into the touch display.
The web server charging control, will look like this:
.
3) In the same page, I also added advanced information about the traction battery (total number of charges, full and partial ones, battery mileage and so on).
4) I added support for another type of steering wheel remote control, commonly used in car stereo accessories. This one, for example:
.
5) last but not least, but this is an anticipation of a looooong term task, a new android apk is moving its first steps. As you see, it's a "ToMized" transformation of the first rude apk
.
So stay tuned or, better, stay ToMmed.

I configured with ToM, that my Twizzy is charged with 1,7 kW and only to 90%. This should put less strain in my electrical instalation, the charger and the battery and is fast and SoC enough for our daily needs.
On the road or before longer trips however, it may be useful to use full charing capacity of e.g. 2 or 2.1 kW, protect the charger by temp only and also load up to 100%
Using the webpage to change that may be a bit of a hassle.
So my suggestion is: Put a button somewhere on the charging page, which lets you override the limited charing values to higher ones temporarily (MAX CHARGE or the like). Either on the webpages there could be somewhere a field to configure which values are used if "MAX CHARGE" is pressed - or just revert to the twizy*s default.
Also I would probably like it best if it would be just a button which overrides the reduced values for just the current/one charging session and reverts to the lower values, but it could also be a slider such as "MAC CHARGE on/off"
Just an idea.

Not exactly in the way as you described it, but in a very comfortable way, I think.
While charging, enter the setting page on the touch screen and then you can change the two values very easily.
Or did I get you wrong?

I was looking for a solution for my wife (or any other person not too interested in tech):
"If you need full power, press here and it will beef up THIS charge, done"
is easier than:
"Click here to get to the setup page, then click here, to add up battery load level, then memorize what charging level you see here, then ramp it up but probably best not to 8, as this may overheat the charger, then after charging don't forget to change those values back, no, you can only do that on the device itself as long the as the charing cable is plugged in, and you memorized what we had before, right? Or at least tell me, so that I can ...
(I may exaggerate a bit here)
So, yes there is a solution. And my wife is indeed tech savvy enough that I can explain it to her ... so: Not overly important, right.
