I live in Cornwall England and I have just bought a 2012 Twizy. It used to belong to a friend, but has not been driven for two years so it will need some work.
I have repaired my own cars for many years, but I am not yet familiar with the Twizy. I have watched a lot of YouTube videos and have read a lot of the forum posts on twizy.forum.de
I speak very little German so I am using Google Translate, or deepl, which sometimes give some strange results!
I think I will post to this forum in English because if I try to write in German I think no-one will understand. I hope that is OK with you all? We'll see how it goes.
So far I have replaced the 12v battery which was completely dead, and I am now looking at other major things such as the brakes. Front and rear were so bad that the wheels would not turn until I knocked off the rust with a hammer.
I am still learning about simple things - for example how the body panels fit together. And my ability to speak German will hopefully improve.
Thanks
Steve

Welcome to the Forum. I think, the Videos from "Twizychrisy" are perfekt for your Brake Job. He has a Lot of Informative Videos on His YouTube Chanel.
I Think, you have to Clean the Rear Brake Callipers. In the Front they often destroy itself and there are Cheap ones on eBay (from America).
In the End one Tip to understand the Posts better: With "Freundliche oder Freundlicher" (friendly) we mean the Renault Dealer. (Because he is (n't) often so friendly (with Prices ans Service) )
Welcome and everytime an Outlet (Socket) available

Not for nothing, I called the translator "Übelsetzer" "Übel" is awfull, instead of "über" from the word Übersetzer=translatorI speak very little German so I am using Google Translate, or deepl, which sometimes give some strange results!
Try it! Maybe we will understand it or not. We will see. But "Übung macht den Meister"="Practice creates masters". I tell you an anecdote. I learned English in school, but i dont try it to speak. Yes maybe we could meet up when you come to Cornwall. I am in Penzance. I am not sure what I will be doing in July. I don't have any Twizy driving experience, only repairing!

We‘ll stay in Goonbell/St.Agnes from July the 14th for one week. Not so far from your place. So when there is something to smuggle into GB, I could take it with me….
