OBD DIAG SYSTEM

Hi guys!

Iḿ looking a good OBD dioagnostic system for Twizy. I tried with some chinesse units and the error codes returned are wrong, with bad descriptions or without it!

The only one valid tested is the ICARSOFT FR, but its quite expensive and I'm looking for one cheaper.... any suggestion?

I preffer the cable ones instead Bluetooth, the data transfer is more stable with cable.

Please, suggestions from the gurus of the forum... haha

The www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-sx/ is very good and can also be used for many other cars.

Together with the pyren and ddt4all software you get what you want!

I checked the software ... and all works also with ELM327, great!

As you have the knowlodge and experience.... why I must buy the OBDLONK SX instead ELM 327 ??? Please, give me your opinion....

On the other hand, I suppose that it will return the error codes like Renault manual (example DF158) instead the generic codes (example C0001)... true? I ask because later it's easier to find it it Renault's manual with Renault coding.

The Obdlink dongle supports most of the obd commands (I think it was 91 out of 95). With a generic ELM 327 it could happen that you can't send/read all the available commands (I tried my OBDLink and another cheaper obd dongle, in test mode I got the 91 commands for the OBDLink, the other one just accepted 80 commands)
