Front brake discs - cheap

Okay, than its clear, that you need New ones. Bei carefull in the Back Discs. They are very expensive and right now only one Side is available. I would try only cleaning them. No Hammer nothing. Only with the Angle grinder (you can give a little Bit of "Gas" at the Same time, than it goes faster and better

For the rear discs, which were also very rusty, I used a coarse then a medium whetstone, with water.

Both rear wheels off, engine in D, vice grip on disc on one side to stop it turning, then press something gently on the pedal to make the wheel turn.

It did a really good job, without any dust or much noise.

Hey Steve.

normally in this forum you can post links without problems.
If they are hepful für the community you don't have to "encrypt" it.

Only by spam, fake oder hatespeech our administrators don't have very much humor. And this is fine so!

Ebay links dont work anymore. Only when you qoute somebody who posted an ebay link, then they magically reappear.

I wonder if Autodoc still sells ABS front brake discs that are defective? I got my money back and still have the disc. They do work if you use Locktite bearing glue.

I may do the same, and I have ordered some Loctite 620 50ml which will arrive on Tuesday.

For me, this might a cheap way of getting the car to the MOT (TUV) which will then allow me find to out other things that may need to be repaired.

It also depends on whether the ebay seller will want me to return the faulty discs.

Why not buying the original Renault Parts instead of cheap crapp and additional Stuff and lots of work on top? Its just Breaks, so spend some Bucks for your and other people's life...
A pair of Renaultdisks is around 110-120€, so what?

Edit.. just seen you are from GB... but what if you add Tax/Customs/deliverycosts to the price the Disks are sold here

Bull s... What should happen? It is not like the wheel will fall off. No matter what happens then you will still be able to brake as the disc is completely fixed to the wheel and cant come off because of the hub bolt.
