@Snorre
Look at the pictures named "SnorrePlacing", and immagine the white sheet is the left gloove box's cover. This is the solution I was suggesting you....Delvecchio schrieb: If you want to install it on the left gloove box's cover, I think it would be preferable, to keep gyroscope functionality, to attach the blackbox under the gloove box's cover, managing a little to fix it in plane (on both X, Y axis).
In this case, the cables could be very short.
@JPB
With all these photos, your unit is becoming a v.i.p. (or... it feels so!)

Delvecchio schrieb: Another good news: two units are ready to be sent to you, and other two will be within the end of this month.
Till now I received in public/private request from this users, in cronological order:
JPB
villadsen
Snorre
Saarlodrie
TwizyCamper
I will defintely buy one in CAN bus version.
Right now I'm unsure whether I will prefer shorter cables or not.
So I will tell you at the end of this month.

Funktion: Bedienung intuitiv, gute Reaktionszeit.
Danke Fabio!
Englisch:
Here is a short conclusion after a first test (so far only in the garage because the weather is too bad for me and my Twizy.)
Processing: Top, you can't imagine it better for a hobby project. All edges are rounded, no traces of "damage" or similar.
Installation: Very easy. I only wired it loosely at first because I wanted to test it in several vehicles.
Function: Intuitive operation, good response time. Rearranging the symbols needs some experience, as there is no "drag and drop". 4 different surfaces, lots of information at a glance. Starting with the "Moving Twizy" was also very successful. I would also like something similar when switching off (on its own after about 4 seconds after the Twizy).
"Problems": The temperature display doesn't seem quite right to me. I saw two different temperatures (28 and 12°). Both cannot be quite right, the Twizy is in the Garge (8°) not driven or loaded. I got the Twizometer out of the house (21°). Therefore, this must have 21° or colder.
(Maybe the temperatures will come up later, when I've really driven)
Surprise: The Twizyometer works with the ediver BMS and the Catl just like with the original configuration. It shows 9.7kWh and the cell voltages can also be called up. (Not even the Renault Clip can do that!)
Suggestion: It might make sense not to always have the SOH on the first page, I still like looking at it (at #1 100% and at #2 100%), but I don't want to look at it later constantly have to look at the "misery"
All in all I'm super happy with it. I will have a lot of fun with it and finally have a (better) Twizyplay
Thank you Fabio!

Each page, except info battery pages, is fully "customizable", i.e. you can choose what data have to be showed, within the ones available.
To do that go in setup page (three dots) and proceed as follow:
In this way you can remove SOH from the first page and swap it with another data.

Three temperature are available: motor temperature, battery temperature and internal (car) temperature. The only which can be not affordable is the last one, because it's taken from the gyro's temperature sensor which is affected by the microclima inside the blackbox.

I share my dream list about this project. Yes, they are only dreams that could enter in the to do list, but as I'm not sure to start them, I can promise nothing.
Dream List
1) WiFi connection to send data relying on MQTT broker, for home integration
2) a very (very, very, very ) basic android app, for pushing notifications (charge started/completed, for example)
3) some little icons on the bottom side of the display, like the ones in the notification tray of an android phone, for warning purposes (motor/battery overheating, connection lost, low battery charge, etc...).
4) good-bye screen/animation at power-off (thanks to JPB for the idea)
5) trip info page, with current usage, estimated km left, kWh per trip etc. (thanks to HollandHannes for the idea).
To be clear: don't create any expectation about the above "dreams" and not decide for Twizy o'meter trusting these dreams will become true, because, you know, often dreams stay dreams and don't become true!
For now I can only say that:
- dream 1) is in working progress, at 50%
- any improvement will be available by a firmware upgrade, with no hardware modifications. So, extended to all Twizy o'meters.
.
.
I'm interrogating myself if I have to thank you, or not...Snorre schrieb:

I didn' think at the biginning: I calibrated min/max range of battery kwh without considering someone could have a bigger battery then standard one (6.1kwh).JPB schrieb: It shows 9.7kWh ....
So you'll have a graphical rappresentation of 100% kwh starting from 6.1 kwh.
The issues will be fixed in the next firmware, adding a specific setting in setup page.

I find it is extremely practical if larger capacities are also recognized . Many Twizydriver will probably switch in the coming yearsto the larger CATL battery.

This implementation is more difficult than expected... but I go on.
I received many request to anticipate point 5) of my dream list, before other points.
So while I'm working on Wi-Fi connections, I want to open a poll about what you would like to see in Trip info page.
I guess it could be usefull:
1) trip time (the elapsed time from start to stop Twizy)
2) average speed (calculated: km. traveled / trip time). Do you prefer travel pauses are removed from calculation?
3) kwh consumed (calculated: kwh available at start - kwh left at stop)
4) estimated left km autonomy (calculated: kwh consumed / km traveled * kwh left). Is there a better algoritm?
5) km traveled
What else?

Charging power - with how many kW it is currently charging (if not already available)
